M151A2 (Mutt)

It was a response of Ford to the successful German “Munga” all-terrain vehicle, which was characteristic by its compact design, independent wheel suspension, and easy maintenance. The prototype was designed in 1954; the M151 serial production was launched in 1960. The M 151A1 and A2 modifications were introduced mainly in order to improve some of the unsafe handling properties – when in a skid the M151 tends to tip over.
